HR Generalist - Payroll
Salary Range (based on experience) $60,902 - $84,323
The Human Resource Generalist completes daily functions under the direction of the HR Director for complete payroll administration and serves as a integral part of HR team.
Payroll Functions:
Implements, maintains, and completes payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Webb payroll and Attendance on Demand experience preferred.
Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions both electronically and hard copies as needed.
Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors and conducts periodic inhouse audits.
Maintains master spreadsheet for employee listing, position, rate of pay information.
I-9 process management, Alabama new hire reporting
Track and maintain all employees merit increases
Process owner and maintenance of time system (Attendance on Demand) to ensure employee is listed and accuracy of time records for payroll
Tracking of ACA for health insurance via payroll system in addition to W2 & 1095C management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED with college coursework in human resources management, business administration, or a closely related field with 3-5 years of experience in payroll administration is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. AAPPA or SHRM certification strongly desired.
